What Do Baptists Believe?

In many countries the word "Baptist" is synonymous with "Protestant."

Another problem is the cults, such as the Mormons, are claiming they are Christians.

This is very confusing for new Christians living in a non-Christian culture. We've created this booklet to help people understand who Baptists are, and what makes them distinct from cults such as Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses, and from other groups who call themselves Christian.

This booklet does not claim that Baptists are the only true Christians -- that is not true.

What this booklet does is explain the core beliefs of the conservative Baptists.
